COURSE OBJECTIVE
On successfully completing the course, delegates will be able to understand: The benefits of integrating management systems for quality, environment and Health & Safety; The principal characteristics of the ISO9001/2, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, BS8800 and SafetyCert management systems standards; The common requirements of and differences between these standards; The practicalities of developing integrated management systems which meet the requirements of these standards.
 
COURSE CONTENTS
The course uses a mixture of taught sessions, discussions, and practical exercises. It is anticipated that delegates will have a variety of different backgrounds in quality, environmental and health and safety management and all delegates are encouraged to contribute to the discussions on the basis of the experience they have. There is no examination for this course. However, delegates will be assessed on the basis of their progress throughout the exercises and a certificate of competence will be issued to delegates deemed to have reached a satisfactory standard.
SUGGESTED PRE-REQUISITES
Some familiarity with the structure and requirements of Management Systems based on ISO 9001 or ISO14001 would be beneficial.
