COURSE OBJECTIVE
To improve employee skills in identifying asbestos and mineral fibre containing materials and working with them in a safe manner. It is designed to be relevant to the requirements of appropriate Regulations regarding working with asbestos-containing materials and is styled to give a general introduction to asbestos and mineral fibre materials, including recognised risks.

- Explaination of what asbestos and minerial fibres are and where they have been used
- Explaination of asbestos related diseases
- Explaination of the risks of contracting asbestos related diseases
- Safe handling of asbestos bearing materials likely to be encountered
